The Pajama Dilema
Tonight as Parker is putting on his pajamas, he starts asking for help as he does most night when he doesn't have something to hurry up for. I encourage him to keep trying and do it himself, since he has before. I know he can do it so I don't help. He looks at me and says, "Mom you just don't understand me alright!" I of course don't say anything yet, since I am still trying to comprehend what he just said and why. He says, "alright mom?!" again. I say, "ok," not really sure what to say to that. Should I tell him I understand you more than anyone! No I decided to just leave it at Ok and helped him get finished. If only that was the end of the pj dilema. He tells me they are too big for bubba. Which is his new thing lately. Telling me they are too big for brother which they are obviously cutting it close to being too small for Parker. I'm guessing that is his way of saying they are too small? He tugs at his pants a few times and they are bothering him, so I tell him to go get a different pair and change them. Well here we go again, it begins again. This time a little less fussing and only get his legs both stuck in one side once. We finish that up just in time for him to start bawling about the missing blanket. "There's you're sign," for those that have heard that before. AKA Parker is ready for bed! Time to search for the blanket and get this boy to bed ASAP.
